M!R!M (UK/IT) / A Dull Set / Méta Monde
M!R!M is the solo project of Jack Milwaukee, Italian multi-instrumentalist based in London since 2011.

Inspired by early 80s synth pop, cold and darkwave M!R!M has been writing and releasing material on labels such as Fabrika Records, Manic Depression and recently on Avant!Records.
Holding firmly to the vibes that recall the most dreaming 80’s, Jack Milwaukee this time blends together that typical FM synth timbre, which has always characterized the artist, with deeper and sumptuous sounds found within the notes of Mellotron and sax; overcoming previous Lo-Fi approaches to undertake a solid, prominent and more mature path.
Pulling from the ‘pop’ approach of mid 80’s synth-pop pioneers like New Order, The Wake, Tears for Fears to most iconic figures of the Italian 80’s era, M!R!M dialed in on a clear understanding of its own specific sound, which has since evolved.
A Dull Set is a Prague-based duo Sam and Hayden, born either side of the UK's North/South divide. Drawing influence from early-80s British new wave and post-punk, the fast tempo of the reverb-laced electronic drums pave the way for short and snappy, melodic and sardonic songs - delivered in the deep dulcet tones of the men in question.
Dave Allen's iconic bass riffs meet Adrian Borland's unique guitar creations, as described by one blog:
''It has connections to almost everything that came up in the turn of the 70's for the 80's, from Gang of Four to The Cure, from A Certain Ratio to Bauhaus. Despite sounding nostalgic, A Dull Set know exactly where they are stepping."
Brand new synth electronic band from Prague.
