ÓLAVSON/ŠULÍK
Ragnar Árni Ólafsson is a composer and guitarist from Reykjavík, Iceland, working both there and abroad in various contexts. He's an avid collaborator, scorer, improviser, deviser, and performer of notated, improvised, videoed, electronic musics. Among his upcoming projects are a release featuring compositions based on AI text generators’ hallucinatory descriptions of music, interpreted by himself, Áslaug Magnúsdóttir (IS/DK) and Gunnar Gunnsteinsson (IS), and a television style web series produced with longtime collaborator Luke Deane (UK/NL) featuring improvisations, absurdist comedy and video art. He is currently working on his first release of solo compositions and improvisations.
Jakub Šulík is an artist, musician and performer originally from Slovakia. He is a co-founder of FRAS and a graduate of DAMU KALD.
In the past years he has created theatrical scenography in Minor, House on Provázek, Bajka in Český Tešín or in the Lutkovný Gledalištěsti in Ljubljana.
In his freelance work, he creates illustrations, art books, free graphics, music in several bands (Holinky, Slimming controlled by computer) and composes music for several computer games.
