Odpornej death metal z Anglie na Sedmičce!

SLIMELORD (uk) – 20 Buck Spin Records

Formed in Leeds, England in early 2019, Slimelord soon discovered a unique feel in the practise room that melded meditative loopings of spacious riffs with heavy and eerie swamp atmospheres. They entered the studio only a couple of months later and created 'The Delta Death Sirens'.

Their foray into the resurgent old school sound quickly gained them attention as one of the few active bands exploring this style in the UK at the time, support slots for bands such as Tomb Mold, Spectral Voice, Grave Miasma and more occurred throughout 2019 and 2020 before the pandemic. However, Slimelord joined forces with Seed Of Doom, Dry Cough and Sewer Rot records to distribute their releases during this period.

'Moss Contamination' (2021) took Slimelord from their muddy bogs to deep reverberating caves, both doom elements as well as faster sequences were exaggerated to the extremes. Slimelord then contributed a cover track for a Noxious Ruin compilation before recording 'Insurmountable Peril' in 2022, a more calculated release serving as a bridge to their debut album...

As with almost all Slimelord compositions, the forthcoming full-length was constructed from improvised rehearsal tapes from the very first few weeks of rehearsals in 2019 and is set to be released in 2023 by 20 Buck Spin Records.

CRYPTWORM (uk) - Me Saco Un Ojo Records
Formed in 2014 by Tibor Hanyi and Joe Knight, Cryptworm have become one of
the most prolific UK underground death metal bands in the past decade.

Following the success of their debut album and a new line up featuring Joss
Farrington (Cryptic Shift & Seprevation) on bass and Jay Wintle (Seprevation)
on drums. Cryptworm return with its follow-up, 'Oozing Radioactive Vomition',
another rancid affair of true Death Metal abhorrence.

Their new offering injects even more fury and unpleasantries into the already
crushing sound they had carefully built, taking things even further into the
abyssal murk of the underground for all real maniacs to revel in the molten rot
on display.

If the song titles such as “Miasmatic Foetid Odour” and “Engulfed by Gurgling
Purge Fluids” don’t already give you an idea of what to expect, than allow your
ears to fall victim to the sonic suppuration of Cryptworm’s most malformed
release to date.
